- My mom's brother married my dad's sister: my mom was adopted by her AUNT. But he who is theoretically her brother DID marry my dad's sister. We have a very limited family. Technically I only have 6 cousins all together... Ever since her "secret" has come out, she now calls what we always thought of her cousins her brother and sister. So this is true.
- My sister and I both have the same name (FIRST name, that is): my sister has a "nom composé" which means 2 names in one like Bobbi-Joe or something like that. Half her name is my name. When she married her American boyfriend, her name was too complicated for her "new" family. They decided to drop the second half of her name, to which she agreed. WTF? That half is MY name! Bitch. Now we both have the same name, like "Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Darryl and this is my other brother Darryl". What was she thinking taking MY name??? This is (to my great bewilderment) too fucking true.
- Yes, I come from a slick hillbilly familly (hence the double LL in familly): I sooo don't come from a hillbilly family. I kinda wish I did. I grew up in (sleeping) suburbia, on the West-Island of Montreal. Population 6-7 million? Montreal is like a French European version of New York City... Oh la la, très chic... But a suburb is still a suburb. My family is well educated, slightly snobby but their capacity to enjoy the cosmo makes them be oh so fun to be with. False - false - false!

So I'll guess True Blood is the lie. I have a harder time seeing you as a sci-fi/fantasy/mythical creatures girl.
But I still wouldn't be surprised if you ate it all up.
Well... I have a cousin-aunt AND Brousins so... I can't be all that judgmental. Oh, and the hyphenated double first name thing - word.
ReplyDeleteI also have two cousins with the same first and last name... possible middle name. OK, so I get that they were named after grandpa but it's weird to say "where's Lee? Oh... Big lee? No, little lee"
Now that "little lee" is 18 and taller than "big lee" this may get more complicated...

ReplyDeleteI so agree on trueblood...so i am thinking the lie is one or 2...howard is either you love him or hate him (for me it is hate) but i know many that do love him...so i am going to guess that #2 is the lie.
