The Final Countdown!

My little journey in Montreal is coming to an end. BUT, I still have two (2) separate visits with two (2) friends! This trip is coming to an end soon, but honestly not soon enough! I'm tired. I'm fatigated. (That's kinda frenglish for tired).  I've jammed so much stuff, outings, training, traveling, family time, friend time in these few days, I need to get back to work so I can rest.

I'm not kidding. I will rest! I've got a race this Saturday, then that's almost it for my season, and my (muah) job. I am entering the final weeks of my life of racing.

That is so weird.

That super duper cool job for which I was INVITED to send in my resume? Got my answer yesterday, it was one of those "don't call us, we'll call you" answers. Or, "you suck, remind us why we asked you to apply?" type of deal. *sigh*  And tonight, my friend told me "Oh, I saw this ad for some airline company, I don't remember which one it was, but they're looking for somebody familiar with social media stuff who could write a blog and be paid to travel around the world. But I figured you wouldn't be interested so I didn't keep the ad."

Hold on. What? A PAID job to blab on Twitter and Facebook? A paid trip around the fucking world? Paid to blog about it? What part of all this fucking awesome goodness you thought I might not be interested in? The paid part maybe? Because I'm currently doing ALL of this out of pure enjoyment? And not getting paid? You thought the money would ruin the fun??? AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! 1 hour of googling, yahooing and binging still hasn't brought me anywhere NEAR any such wetdream of a job offer.

So, instead Immagonnawriteaboutithere. Can you hear my shakes? Can you feel my screams? A boner of a job like that and... I - CAN'T - FIND - IT! Oh, and did I mention they wanted a CANADIAN? A FUCKING BILINGUAL CANADIAN? (psst, in Canada bilingual translates to FRENCH AND ENGLISH!) Fuck, when I apply for jobs in California I can't even USE the term bilingual...

But, I'll get over it when I'll be standing behind a counter asking customers for the thousandth time "Will that be paper or plastic?"
